My name is Joanne and I live on the East Bay Area [California]. I am a girl [if it wasn't obvious before], and I'm without doubt Asian. I was born in San Francisco Kaiser Permente hospital, however, and I speak English fluently, thank you. My parents were from Viet nam, and my grand parents were from China [my dad's side]. While today my dad's family is all over the world, my mom's family is still stuck in the hot and humid weather of Ho Chi Minh, Viet nam. Luckily, though, my mom's sister [my aunt] will be coming to America soon.

I have many interests. There is always music of course, but the kind I usually prefer are categories under rock. There will be the occasion where I listen to instrumental and techno. I'm not a huge fan of pop, only some songs are my cup of tea. My favorite bands include Paramore, My Chemical Romance, and Linkin Park. Hayley Williams is the person who I look up to, only because she seems different around everyone else and doesn't care so much if she looks stupid in front of the camera, which prevents her from it too.There's just something that I love about her. She may get the most attention compared to the other Paramore members, but I also look up to all the other members.

During the school year of 2008-2009, I learned that I had an interest in photography. I don't know...it's just fun to take pictures, especially when they turn out beautiful! I changed a lot, too...hopefully in a good way. Of course, I also learned more. I always do every year. Which, before I forget, I'm a huge teacher's pet! Didn't see that coming, did you? I love school, learning, and I want to become an author someday. If not, a musician will do fine too. Two of my favorite things--school and/or music.

I will admit it. I have a huge obsession with the computer, but I wouldn't commit suicide if I couldn't use it like that crazy Asian dude from the news. I am into graphic design, web design *cough*, and many other things. I love the computer and internet. Mostly the internet. I burn disks sometimes and make [horrible] remixes on Audacity. I also have been known for blogging on the computer and making [terrible] YouTube videos.
